1.27 – September 2020
- Added the NVivo Transcription dictionary, allowing you to 'teach' the app words, names, acronyms or phrases that you want transcribed a particular way. For example, you can configure the dictionary to transcribe the spoken words 'saynt are no' as St Arnaud. Dictionary
- Added find and replace to the Editing page, to help correcting mis-transcribed terms. Editing page You can optionally add find and replace terms to the dictionary. Add 'find and replace' terms

1.26 – July 2020
- Added keyboard shortcuts for editing:
- Save: Ctrl/⌘ + S
- Rewind 5 seconds: Ctrl + Alt/Option + R
- On editing page, show keyboard shortcuts as tooltips when hovering over editing commands.

Click column headers (File, Duration, Modified) on the Files page to order files in ascending or descending order by name (alphabetical), duration, or date last modified.

NVivo Transcription now attempts to identify the different speakers within a file, labeling them as SPEAKER1, SPEAKER2 etc.
- Simplified Chinese added as an interface language.
- Added a message to transcripts informing users when the associated media files have been deleted (media files are deleted 90 days after their transcripts were created or last edited).
1.24 – April 2020
- Removed app time-out—NVivo Transcription now remains active for as long as it is open in the browser.
- Added timestamps to DOCX transcript export. Transcripts are now exported in tables with columns for speaker, timestamp and content.

When changing speaker names in the Edit page you can now select Replace all to replace all instances of a particular name with a new name. For example, if changing the name of SPEAKER2 to the respondent's actual name, select Replace all to replace every instance of SPEAKER2 in the transcript to the name you enter.
1.23 – March 2020
- NVivo Transcription is linked to the new myLumivero portal for transcription purchases and to change the Transcription interface language.
- Users can switch between myLumivero accounts from the main menu.
- Users' data is stored in one of four regions: Africa, Europe and the Middle East in Europe, the United States and Central and South America in the United States, Canada in Canada and Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Islands in Singapore.
